Your choices
You can reject optional cookies, save selected preferences or accept them. You do not need to accept optional cookies to read the website. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choices at any time. Optional choices are not preselected.
Remembering preferences
adventistgreece-consent is stored in browser local storage, rather than an HTTP cookie. It contains your analytics and marketing/external-content choices, settings version and save date. We ask you to review your choices after 180 days. The record stays on your device until replaced or you clear site data. Its only purpose is to remember your choices.
Optional services
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure website traffic. The Google tag loads on every visit when enabled. Before acceptance, or if you decline analytics cookies, Google Consent Mode sends limited measurement signals without analytics cookies. This does not mean that no data is transmitted: Google receives technical information such as browser and visited-page information. If you accept analytics cookies, _ga and _ga_<ID> may be stored to distinguish visits and sessions, with a default lifetime of up to two years. Lifetime can be changed in Google Analytics settings. Advertising storage and personalization remain disabled. Other optional analytics or marketing tools load only after consent for the corresponding category.
Embedded YouTube videos use youtube-nocookie.com and appear only after the marketing/external-content choice. Otherwise, a link to the video is shown. The provider may process information when you load or play a video.
Google Maps and payments
Google Maps loads automatically on the church finder and is not controlled by analytics or marketing choices. Google receives technical information to display it. We do not request device geolocation. Automatic loading does not mean consent to optional advertising tracking. Google’s policy also applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Secure payment opens on a separate Stripe page when you choose to give. Necessary security, fraud-prevention and session mechanisms may operate there under Stripe’s cookie policy: https://stripe.com/cookie-settings. This website’s settings do not change your choices on other websites.
Changing choices and clearing data
When you withdraw a previous acceptance, the page reloads to stop loading the corresponding optional services. You can also clear cookies and local data in your browser settings. Any third-party cookies already set can be removed there or through the provider’s controls. For personal-data questions, see the Privacy policy or contact the Church.
